IATEFL BESIG International Business English Summer Conference 2010

The IATEFL BESIG International Business English Summer Conference 2010 is a mid-year opportunity to network and catch up with current trends in Business English.


Add a choice of excursions, cultural visits and gastronomy – all in Rome - and you have business with an authentic Italian flavour!

The conference runs from 12:00 on Friday, 25 June to 12:30 on Saturday, 26 June. There will be up to 20 parallel 45-minute sessions run by trainers, authors and other leading experts in the field of Business English.

Patrick Boyland is the keynote speaker. He will be talking about teaching Business English as a Cultural Mindset. Patrick is a well-known authority on language and inter-cultural communication and a former professor of English at the University Roma Tre.

Early-bird registration is from 30 March until 23 April.

2010 EULETA Conference in Hamburg Germany

The next EULETA conference will take place at the prestigious Bucerius Law School, Hamburg 3-5 September 2010.

The 2008 conference brought together over 120 teachers of Legal English from 19 different countries for three days of workshops, presentations and networking. This year's conference looks set to be even more successful, with increased sponsorship and recognition from leading publishers and journals helping ensure a very worthwhile few days.
